Kelemvor has grown impatient of the souls who cheats death and avoids afterlife. It disturbs the ballance, breaks the Law and is not to the benefit of the souls themselves. So he creates a servant of death, whose task it is to kill and collect the souls of the unwilling. But this servant must know his prey in order to be successfull. He must understand them. Kelemvor deciedes that a mortal will become this servant. And Bolin was born. Bolin The Collector Bolin's task is to make sure that the souls of the unwilling; the cheaters; are brought to the Realm of Death and well into their afterlife. Bolin prefers to do this without violence. If he feels there is a chance that the unwilling will eventually give in and give up the existence in the world of the living; he will be the guide. However, this is rarely the case because few would go through the pain to cheat death just to give up later. The unwilling are often much to settled in the world of the living for this. And in such cases, Bolin will use force. His task is to kill and destroy, not to inflict pain. Bolin himself is neither living nor undead. He can be killed, but this simply works as banishment for him. He will return at a later point to continue his work. - Go anywhere - Be protected against magic - Understand language - Intimidate/sense motive The Unwiling This might be inteligent undeads, who has cheated death by becomming undead.
